I extend a warm welcome to our students, dedicated staff, supportive parents, and guests as we begin the 2026 academic year.
Last year, our students, teachers, and community achieved outstanding results: 119 of 130 candidates met the minimum university entry grade, with a mean grade of B- (8.19). These outcomes highlight our programs, learning culture, and teaching strength. We see these results as a launchpad toward our shared goals: fostering a supportive environment where all students exceed their potential. In the coming year, we will target enhanced collaborative learning, personalized mentorship, and innovative educational excellence.
We marked our achievements at Prize-Giving Day. An alumnus shared his progression from student to High Court advocate, encouraging current students facing similar obstacles. Alumni and guests inspired learners by exemplifying achievement and service, reinforcing St. George’s tradition, mentorship, and pride.
The school organized educational tours for all classes to give real-world exposure, enrich academic understanding, and broaden career perspectives. These tours bridge theory and practice. After each, students join focused reflection sessions and projects that connect new experiences to future career skills. This method helps students identify and build essential academic and professional skills, making learning more impactful and purposeful.
Beyond academics, St. George Mixed Secondary School excelled in extra-curricular activities. Our students consistently excelled in sports, clubs, and co-curricular competitions. We nurture well-rounded individuals by building leadership, teamwork, discipline, and talent through our programs.
